Stefania Ferrari received the PhD in Chemistry in 2011 from University of Pavia (Italy), where she worked until 2013. She has gained experience in the synthesis and characterization of ionic conducting materials and intercalation compounds, exploring their application in energy storage devices. At present, she is a Senior Research Fellow at WMG (Warwick Manufacturing Group), University of Warwick.

Her current research for the Elevate project is carried out at the battery scale-up facility and comprises the development and testing of battery cells for the integration of new materials into pouch cells (WP3), and electrochemical and structural characterization of electrode materials.
